Supporting the belief that a better future lies in every creative expression and with a common vision for sustainability, ethical fashion and the love for the sea, Zeus + Dione transforms elements of the Greek tradition into a one-piece swimsuit for Common Seas, highlighting their common philosophy through this collaboration.
Common Seas, which operates in Greece through the Clean Blue Paros project on the island of Paros, works with faith and dedication in tackling the plastic pollution crisis and being a pioneer through a systemic approach that maps a path to healthy seas for all.
The iconic blue of Greece, the bright yellow of the summer sun and the warm burgundy, stand out through the craftsmanship of Zeus + Dione and find their expression point in the three iconic colors of the swimsuit created for Common Seas. The design of the swimsuit is consistent with the design principles of the brand, while the beautiful detail of the specially designed buttons on the front resemble an elegant jewelry. This detail derives from the uniforms of the Greek Revolution, dated back on the 19th century.
The swimsuit is made of Econyl 100% regenerated nylon, a fabric that is created entirely from plastic waste. It works the same as nylon fabric, but it can be recycled, recreated, and remodeled repeatedly. In this direction, the brand keeps its promise towards supporting the circular economy and reduces the footprint of the fashion industry, supporting the Common Seas philosophy of a planet with less plastic. The swimsuit is accompanied by a fishnet bag with a round handle from the same Econyl fabric.

The bag is another reference point, as it is suitable to be used for recycling plastic waste found on the beaches, to inspire the public to become part of the solution and to help in the direction of responsible use and disposal of plastic.
To support the actions of Common Seas and Clean Blue Paros, a percentage of the proceeds from the sale of the swimsuit will be donated to the organization, assisting in the actions to address plastic pollution, by crafting a new culture of a new and global policy, investing in circular economy and the way we use and tackle plastic waste.
