The travel experience is multidimensional and involves all our senses and emotions. Travelling to new destinations that allow us to explore new places is exciting, but it is also wonderful to travel to places that take us back to past unique moments.

In these latter, some of our most powerful memories are those that are infused with the aroma and the enjoyment of a favourite flavour.

A journey through taste is able to evoke feelings of warmth, security and intimacy as it takes us back to important moments of sharing and caring. We just need to remember the emblematic dishes of our country that remind us of Sunday tables, outings, celebrations and festivals every time we taste them. Small flavourful masterpieces that combine the products of our land with centuries-old traditions always have a place in our hearts and on our table.

One of the most important chapters of our gastronomic tradition is certainly pies. From the moment they are baked and the aromas flood the room, the excitement begins. The slight crunch of the crispy dough sheets as they are cut with the knife creates a peculiar domestic melody. Every bite is like travelling back in a time machine, evoking childhood memories; a delicious cheese pie on a school trip, a visit to our grandmother who always welcomed us with freshly-baked leek or spinach pies, an afternoon coffee served with a fluffy slice of rosy pie.
