Watersports

You can find watersports and beach volleyball courts on most beaches. Kefalos, Tigaki, Marmari and Mastichari are ideal for kite and windsurfing and water skiing. In Psalidi you can try flyboarding.

Diving

Due to its organic nature Kos boasts a unique coastline, featuring various underwater caves and reefs that make for ideal scuba diving locations. Popular spots for diving include the Thermal Springs and Archway Tunnel. Boat trips to nearby small islands are also offered. Kite and Windsurfing

This Island is a windsurfing and kite-surfing paradise, with the strong summer Meltemi winds blowing almost daily along certain parts of the coast, making it an ideal destination for the sport. Popular locations for windsurfing include Mastihari, Agios Stefanos, Kefalos, Lambi, Psalidi, and more. Cycling

The terrain in the town is flat, suitable for cycling. The town has a network of cycle paths that reach the eastern end of the island and there are bicycle rental offices in all the tourist areas. The longest cycle path starts from the beach of Faros and goes all the way to the end of the beach of Psalidi (13 km or 8 miles).

Boat excursions

From the port of Kos, daily cruises visit Kalymnos and Pserimos. Longer excursions take you to the Dodecanese and Turkey. Otherwise, you can rent a boat to sail around the island on your own, or go to nearby islands. Moorings are available in Mastichari, Kardamena and Limnionas.
