The Hyatt Regency Thessaloniki, northern Greece’s favourite five-star hotel, has taken an initiative to further enhance the open-air cinema experience. From June 15, a Wednesday, and every Wednesday until mid-September, the hotel’s space alongside the swimming pool will be transformed into a cinema – and gastronomy – attraction.

The Hyatt Regency Thessaloniki’s weekly film-night series, Cinema by The Pool, will get underway with “Sideways”, a bittersweet comedy by Alexander Payne, an Oscar-winning American director of Greek descent. The film addresses male friendship, mid-life trappings, and, above all, California’s vineyards and wines.
