Στον εσωτερικό χώρο του ατμοσφαιρικού bar που βρίσκεται στην παραλιακή περαντζάδα, η ιστορία της οικογένειας Βαλληνδρά, που έχει ταυτίσει το όνομά της με το ποτό-σήμα κατατεθέν της Νάξου, αποτυπώνεται σε αφίσες, φωτογραφίες και άλλα σπάνια κειμήλια. Όλα τους μαρτυρούν την αφοσίωση και την αγάπη τους για το προϊόν που παράγουν εδώ και 125 χρόνια, αλλά και το ρόλο που έχει παίξει στην οικονομία και στο γαστρονομικό κεφάλαιο του νησιού.

Η κορυφαία από τις προτάσεις του Kitron Bar είναι το cocktail με όνομα τη χρονιά ίδρυσης της ποτοποιίας Βαλληνδρά, το 1896, που συνδυάζει το άρωμα του κίτρινου και πιο δυνατού λικέρ κίτρου με τη δροσιά του lime και του δυόσμου, ενώ προσωπικό αγαπημένο είναι το Kitron Summer, με τις αιγαιοπελαγίτικες γεύσεις του κίτρου και της μαστίχας σε τέλεια ισορροπία.

Κι επειδή η ομάδα του Kitron 1896 Coctail Bar δεν εφησυχάζει ποτέ, βάζει στο μενού και γλυκές προτάσεις με σημείο αναφοράς το κίτρο, όπως το cheesecake με κρέμα ξινομυζήθρας από τα ορεινά χωριά του νησιού και μαρμελάδα κίτρου, ή τα pancakes με τον ίδιο συνδυασμό γεύσεων, που θα αρωματίσουν τον ουρανίσκο σας με την τέλεια επίγευσή τους. Μετά την πρωινή βόλτα στο κάστρο και στα λαβυρινθώδη σοκάκια του, είναι η τέλεια επιλογή για brunch και ανάκτηση δυνάμεων.
